What’s going on?
Racing
Racers competed for prizes across multiple events: EOL Race (individual timed qualification and 4x finals); Team Endurance Race; Chair Race and the Individual Mass Start Race.
Volt Park
Riders hit the massive collection of ramps, rails and obstacles in the Volt Park. Freestyle clinics and competitions let attendees learn new tricks or show off what they'd already got.
Social
Riders enjoyed social rides around the forest and lakes, chilled out in the vendor village whilst watching Volt Park action, and listened to music from local bands and DJs.
Scavenger Hunt
Our friends from Oak City Onewheel in the US came all the way over to set up one of their famous scavenger hunts around the forest and event site.
Demos
Attendees tried out Onewheels, electric unicycles, drift trikes and other personal electric vehicles — many for the first time — and watched demos and performances from expert riders.
Mini Boards
“Practical? No. But cute? Very!” A half scale Onewheel XR and GTS that actually work came to SiS. Lia showed off the baby boards and let attendees try them out on a little tabletop track.

The home of Send it Surrey, the Camelot Events site, is nestled in a beautiful woodland location, surrounded by lakes, deep in the Surrey countryside, but within easy reach of London. We chose the site because it’s already a timed race venue and the trails are gnarly, with natural technical features, the roots and ruts and mixture of dirt and gravel took a good level of skill to negotiate.
Despite the winter mud seen in our promo footage, the trails were dry and rideable by summer — no wellies required.
